Artiste photographe, directrice artistique et enseignante, diplômée avec mention du département design graphique de l’Institut supérieur des arts de Toulouse, Manifa N’Diaye est née en 1988 et vit et travaille à Lyon.

Son travail a été exposé en France et à l’international, au sein d’expositions personnelles et collectives, notamment au centre d’art l’Œil de poisson (Québec), au parc floral de Paris (Paris 12e), au BBB Centre d’art, à Lieu commun et au Musée des Abattoirs (Toulouse). Elle a reçu le soutient de l’AIA – DRAC Île-de-France et a participé à plusieurs résidences d’artistes, comme celle des Maisons des Arts Georges & Claude Pompidou (MAGCP – Maison Daura).

Elle explore par l’image le quotidien et l’intime. À travers ses journaux photographiques et ses natures mortes se mêlent moments instantanés et fabriqués. Elle met également sa pratique d’artiste au service des industries de la mode et de la presse: ses photographies ont ainsi été publiées dans différents magazines, comme Vice.

Manifa N’Diaye est actuellement responsable du département design graphique du campus Sciences U à Lyon, où elle enseigne également la photographie, la typographie et le design graphique.

Photographer, artistic director, and teacher, Manifa N’Diaye, graduated with honors from the graphic design department of the Higher Institute of Arts in Toulouse. Born in 1988, she currently lives and works in Lyon.

Her work has been exhibited in France and internationally, in solo and group exhibitions, notably at the Œil de poisson art center (Quebec, Canada), the Parc Floral de Paris (Paris 12th), the BBB Center for Art, Lieu Commun, and the Museum of Abattoirs (Toulouse) among others. She was awarded a grant from AIA – DRAC Île-de-France and has participated in several artist residencies, including the Georges & Claude Pompidou Houses of Arts (MAGCP – Maison Daura).

From the mundane to the intimate, she explores everyday life through her photographic journals and still lifes, blending candid moments with constructed ones. Her work has been published in a variety of fields, including fashion and media (such as Vice magazine).

Manifa N’Diaye currently serves as the head of the graphic design department at the Sciences U campus in Lyon, where she also teaches photography, typography, and graphic design.
